Introduction to  Valuegenic Self-Leadership (aka Cognitive Self-Leadership)

This 18-minute video provides a detailed explanation of how our Self-Leadership 1-2-3 process works to help develop people’s Cognitive Self-Leadership skills.

The basic idea of “self-leadership” is nothing new and is, essentially, a combination of emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and self-discipline.

Valuegenic Self-Leadership, however, goes way beyond that. It empowers people to overcome their self-sabotaging habits and biases while directly engaging their scientifically identified best ways of thinking at will. Valuegenic Self-Leadership is anchored in a person’s most natural and powerful motivations to maximize drive and persistence. It enables people to more directly, objectively, and emotionally connect their own thoughts, choices, and actions to their aspirations, results, and performance.

The process by which we teach people to become Valuegenic Self-Leaders (our Self-Leadership 1-2-3  program) is based in the cutting-edge, brain-based, value-driven technology called NCRT (Neuro-axiological Cognitive Remodeling). This step-by-step approach, once learned, can also be used to develop virtually any other skills or to achieve any other goal or aspiration.

What makes our approach work where other programs don’t?

Fundamentally, meaningful and lasting improvements on the outside (behaviors, actions, results, and circumstances) require meaningful and lasting improvements on the inside (how and how well we think both consciously and subconsciously).

If a learning and development process fails to produce meaningful and lasting improvements in behavior and performance (outside), it’s because it has failed to produce meaningful and lasting improvements in the learner’s thinking (inside).

The reason the Axiogenics approach works where others fail is that we have figured out a highly-effective way to elicit meaningful, lasting, and measurable changes and improvements inside the core of people’s thinking. Our process is deeply rooted in and empowered by recent discoveries in the field of cognitive neuroscience regarding the motivators and mechanics of learning and inner change.

Does it work for everyone?

Of course, not. But, the people for whom it does not work are likely to fall into one of three categories:

  1. They have no need or desire to change or improve anything about themselves or their life. In which case, there would be no point in having them participate in the program.
  2. They are unwilling to put any effort into making changes and improvements or taking the actions required to do so.
  3. They come into the program unwillingly or stuck in a negative, fixed, hopeless mindset/attitude and the can’t get themselves unstuck even with coaching.
