My name is Helene Burns, and I came to the Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program with the goal of self-nominating for the American Organization of Nurse Leaders (AONL) Board, representing Region 2, including New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. At the beginning of the program, I was dealing with issues such as being overly perfectionistic, type A, and feeling insecure. However, through my work with my coach, Mary Kutheis, I was able to shed these negative traits and instead become more decisive, courageous, and confident in my abilities. This transformation has substantially enhanced my professional interactions and made me more adept at decision-making. The central question and “thinking good” have become my anchors for maintaining mental clarity during problem resolution. The program’s approach to recognizing and reducing “B Game” thoughts, while amplifying my “A Game” thoughts, has wholly altered my perspective. The coaching sessions with Mary were beneficial and enjoyable, setting this program apart from others I’ve participated in. This learning experience’s applicability to both work and life is truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this program to anyone seeking to elevate their “A Game”. Trust me; it’s a game-changer.

“I am a 34-year-old software engineer in the public sector and an aspiring entrepreneur. I’ve played a key role in delivering highly impactful projects and have been recognized as a top achiever. But despite these accolades, my work left me feeling unfulfilled, stuck, and as though my career was plateauing. I craved a sense of purpose and a path to reach my true potential. This is where Jordan White, a friend turned coach, stepped in.

He introduced me to the Axiogenics program, promising a new perspective on how I approach myself, my choices, and my life. I was intrigued by his own transformation through the program, and I was ready for a change. My main objectives were to escape the rut I found myself in professionally & personally, gain more confidence, and explore the possibility of entrepreneurship.

The program pushed me to introspect, challenging me to think about how I was thinking, and dared me to step out of my comfort zone. The focus was not just on overcoming my biases but also on building a foundation of self-belief and self-love by using assets I already had.

Working closely with Jordan, I began to shift from being stuck in my head to becoming action-oriented. I started to recognize my negative thought patterns that were keeping me stuck. Through the program’s worksheets, I was able to delve deeper into my goals and how I was keeping myself from them, then how to start seeing a clearer path to achieving them.

My experience with the program has been enlightening. It has given me the tools to help me break free from my plateau and set me on a path toward a more fulfilling and engaging career with newfound potential. It’s been a journey of self-improvement. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who feels lost or stuck in their life or work and believes they can achieve more; you’ll learn that it’s within your reach.”

The Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program has been very helpful for my personal growth. I’ve become more aware of my thought processes and emotions, which has given me greater control over my actions and how I spend my time. I can now quickly recognize when I’m getting lost in unproductive thinking or wasting time. I’ve learned to evaluate how my actions will impact the overall value in any situation, understanding that net value includes intrinsic, extrinsic, and systemic elements. Celebrating small successes has become a key part of my journey toward bigger goals, helping me stay motivated and avoid procrastination.

Coaching with Mike Meyers was enjoyable and enlightening. He helped me uncover subconscious thought patterns that were leading to repeated frustrations. Through our conversations, I learned how to identify stress points and logically approach them with preparation and intention. Mike taught me to leverage my strengths, shift my thinking, and ultimately change my actions to achieve better outcomes.

The one-on-one time with Mike was the highlight of the program. While the reading and modules provided essential foundational knowledge, the real breakthroughs happened during our discussions. Some of the most impactful lessons I learned include recognizing the value of my presence, celebrating victories to reinforce progress, and not imposing my perfectionism on myself or others. This mindset shift has even influenced my parenting; I have renewed focus on connecting with my kids to change their thinking and emotions rather than simply expecting obedience.  Thinking about “the definition of GOOD” has helped me combat perfectionism in all areas of life.

I highly recommend this program to anyone willing to explore their thought patterns and engage in humble self-discovery. If you come into it with an open mind, the Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program will undoubtedly bring about positive change in your life.”

Powerful for the Recovery and Rebuilding Phase of PTSD

I have completed 6 sessions with Dr Melodye recently. I sought help as I was experiencing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from many years ago which was activated by a recent minor road traffic accident. Thoughts and physical symptoms were overwhelming. I am a Cognitive Psychotherapist by profession and had some insight of what was happening with me, but I knew I needed extra assistance to journey this season safely

The feedback on VQ profile assessment was incredible to identify biases and liabilities and assets in my thinking patterns/frames. Whilst it was difficult and was triggered working through section 1, it also opened the way to section 2 to be effective and section 3 to bring it altogether with insight, in applying the strategic solutions.

In my experience Axiogenics is powerful for the recovery and rebuilding phase of PTSD instead for the acute phase. However, there were tools to maximise my Assets and minimise my liabilities that helped with the “grounding principle” during a triggered moment. It also instils hope that there is a future and steppingstones towards it, which was so empowering in vulnerable moments.

None of the above would have been possible without the expertise of Dr Melodye. She was empathetic towards my presenting acute phase and brought in the training with great skill and precision. In my view, whilst Axiogenics program is scientifically based it needs the expertise of the Mentor to make it effective. It is not a training model to read the manual and do but it needs the relationship aspect of a Mentor. Dr Melodye delivered it superbly with insight and wisdom without making me feel overwhelmed with information and techniques. I did not feel like just another trainee on a factory line to be deposited with lots of information but felt acknowledged as a person and I was the focus for empowerment. It was tailor made! It is not just the program but the integrity and relationship skills of Dr Melodye.

This experience has been like having driving lessons and passing the test but not being an expert driver at this stage. Just like the skill of driving, the more I drive the car the more experienced I become. I am looking forward to practicing the insights from the Axiogenics sessions as the days, weeks and months go by to become experienced in applying the wisdom!

This was a rare opportunity in my professional experience. Going into the program, my goal was to define a non-grading role in the DODC Cohort Program, focusing on performance and impact. I knew I needed to become more direct and confident, rather than self-effacing. Working with my coach, Peter Demarest, the program’s Central Question became integral to my practice, helping me avoid unproductive patterns. Embracing my biases and realizing that caring about and empowering others is a powerful strength significantly boosted my confidence and authenticity. Participating in this unique, diverse group led by Peter will be a memorable experience. I highly recommend this program to anyone curious about personal growth and supporting others in their development journey. The tools provided are invaluable, offering just a taste of life’s work that inspires a desire for more. Peter’s rare combination of expertise and humility makes this program exceptional. My aspiration is to further develop my axiology skills and actively contribute to this growing community.

Working with my Coach, Jordan White, I was quickly able to pinpoint the thoughts and ways of thinking that were sabotaging my goals. I now have a clearer understanding of my A and B game habits. I can easily recognize why I was struggling. My favorite thing about the program is the “ah-ha” moments of the worksheets. I’m amazed that when reviewing my Self-Leadership development report it became clear where I was struggling that I hadn’t been able to put in words before. If I were to sum up my experience in this program, it would be “emotional, eye-opening, motivating, and resonant.” I highly recommend this program for anyone who is lost, confused, and frustrated that they are self-sabotaging their life but don’t fully understand why. If you have tried other self-help or motivational books but haven’t made progress, this program can give you ways to change the core habits and thinking that are holding you back.

The program has enhanced my ability to maintain perspective and address challenges effectively. It was inspiring to witness a teammate, who once struggled with frustration, find clarity and overcome obstacles through the principles we learned. The Central Question and the concept of staying in my “A-Game” significantly boosted my performance. My initial goal was to prioritize my responsibilities better and become the best version of myself. Through collaboration with my coach, I learned to be less demanding and distracted, and more self-aware, present, and focused. Asking The Central Question consistently helps me concentrate on the task at hand and make informed decisions. One of the highlights of the program was mastering the art of recognizing my triggers, allowing me to maintain my “A game” for the benefit of my company, family, and friends. By committing honestly to this program, I’ve discovered a more efficient way to manage myself, enabling me to present a clear, calm, and focused self to my team. This program truly can have a profound impact on your life.
