The Self-Leadership Development program is a unique and practical framework. It has taught me to recognize mental habits that negatively affect my ability to make good decisions, as well as to use more effective ways of thinking to consistently contribute towards my goals. Through this program, and through the excellent coaching from Dr. Melodye Hilton, I have learned to make better choices in the midst of challenges, and enjoy greater fulfilment within my personal life and relationships.
Dr. Melodye Hilton is an inspiring and knowledgeable coach, who brings wisdom and practical strategies to every conversation. She challenges me to establish habits of higher thinking and motivates me to live a significant and purpose-filled life. Through her soft skills training and the Core Value Index I’ve learned to better understand my own strengths and contributions, as well as to appreciate, validate, and celebrate others authentically.
Through her training I’ve experienced significant growth both personally and as a business leader. I’ve learned more about the strengths that I can bring to the table, as well as the areas that I am not as naturally strong in. This has helped me in my business to understand how to put together a team of diverse talents; the type of team that will find the most efficient solution for every situation, where each person feels valued and be motivated to contribute in the best way they can.

Revamping my perfectionist nature and eliminating hesitation and indecisiveness was challenging; these aspects of my way of doing things had oftentimes prevented me from getting the best net value from a situation. I embarked on the Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program with the intention of honing my leadership skills, personally and professionally to ensure I maximize the value proposition given to and derived from my department as a result of my leadership. Revamping my perfectionist nature and eliminating hesitation and indecisiveness was challenging; these aspects of my way of doing things had oftentimes prevented me from getting the best net value from a situation. The transition though difficult showed new ways of thinking and approaching matters that proved to be quite rewarding steps on my journey towards improvement. My coach, Debbie Joseph-Caddle, definitely boosted my sense of confidence in my ability , which in turn allowed me to be more willing to exercise my decision-making in the space. She emphasized the importance of decision-making and accepting occasional failures as being part of the learning process. Under her guidance, I developed the ability to test my ideas and take decisions with confidence, further enhancing my leadership skills. A key takeaway from her tutelage was this: Leadership isn’t about doing everything myself but ensuring things get done, either through my own work or through efficient delegation. One of the more unexpected but welcomed aspects of the program turned out to be having Debbie as a sounding board as well as access to the insightful tools for rethinking problem-solving and leadership practices that the program provides. Reflecting on my journey throughout this program, I would describe it as an enlightening, confidence-boosting experience that provided me with constructive feedback in a secure environment and one that transformed my thought processes. I highly recommend the Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program to anyone requiring guidance in enhancing their leadership skills. The program facilitators are understanding, knowledgeable, compassionate, deliberate, engaging, flexible and professional. It’s a highly recommended program that promises to bring about positive change.
