Going into this program, in order to achieve my goal of staying connected to the “why” behind what I do at work, remaining grateful for the impact my team and I can have on the lives of children and their families, and appreciating the opportunity I have been given to influence both the growth of our team members and the care we provide to our patients, I discovered that I needed to become less impulsive, reactive, and absent. Working with my coach, Jordan White, I was quickly able to become more deliberate, proactive, and present. As a result, recognizing my biases and my assets and learning how and when each show up was huge. It allows me to leverage my assets and minimize the impact of my biases. My favorite thing about the program is how the exercises really help put the principles into action. If I were to sum up my experience in this program, it would be “eye-opening, empowering, practical. I highly recommend this program for anyone who seems stuck and is ready to take their life to the next level. Jordan was a great coach and really helped me work with the material in this program.

I embarked on the Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program with the intention of honing my leadership skills, personally and professionally to ensure I maximize the value proposition given to and derived from my department as a result of my leadership. The transition though difficult showed new ways of thinking and approaching matters that proved to be quite rewarding steps on my journey towards improvement.   My coach, Debbie Joseph-Caddle, definitely boosted my sense of confidence in my ability , which in turn allowed me to be more willing to exercise my decision-making in the space. She emphasized the importance of decision-making and accepting occasional failures as being part of the learning process. Under her guidance, I developed the ability to test my ideas and take decisions with confidence, further enhancing my leadership skills. A key takeaway from her tutelage was this: Leadership isn’t about doing everything myself but ensuring things get done, either through my own work or through efficient delegation. One of the more unexpected but welcomed aspects of the program turned out to be having Debbie as a sounding board as well as access to the insightful tools for rethinking problem-solving and leadership practices that the program provides. Reflecting on my journey throughout this program, I would describe it as an enlightening, confidence-boosting experience that provided me with constructive feedback in a secure environment and one that transformed my thought processes. I highly recommend the Axiogenics Self-Leadership Development Program to anyone requiring guidance in enhancing their leadership skills.
